space suit concept

this was an attempt to design a mechanical space suit with some detailed explanations on how the parts function. the grill like figure on the chest is the exhaustion system to let out the heat created during activities. little cylinders attached on the thruster pack are fuel tanks, which are disposable after use. the 3 string like tails in the rear are gravity sensors, that move freely in the air while in action, automatically sensing the position and the movement of the user in the given gravity level, for the user to gain the correct balance in such activities like jet pack flight or high speed maneuvers.

this was a school project for mike hitchcox,

we were given a finished layout drawing and assigned to paint it in cutout animation like manner. i understand the style is efficient and is used a lot in the industry, but it wasn't much fun

to work with.

this was done just today. i wanted to break the rust off my tablet by doing something fun.

a friend of mine told me about the "glazing technique" and it sounded basically like what mike taught us.

hey, it's been like ever since i started growing hair under my armpits that i updated for the last time. i've got a ton of stuff to touch up and upload from last yr and a half, mostly from school projects, but i think i'll just start up by dumping some cgs i've done here and there chronologically. some of them were not done to the completion, but they probably are ones that are relatively better than the ones i just didn't pick up where i left them. lolz

i remember this being my first ever completed cg i did for the group "Momentum"(YEAh!!)

that me and the bros formed for the summer after first yr, and i spent quite an amounta time on this

this was also done for the momentum, and it was a fun one to work on, we were inspired by a random chat we had on the famoust rpg series, final fantasy, and decided to design each of ourselves as classes from the game. i was definitely supposed and forced to be the monk(to just stand in the front row to take all the hits alongside with leon, who was a knight).

this also was done for momentum, i think this was my third or forth attempt to finish a digital painting piece. to look at this now it's pretty rough and not complete or sophisticated, but i remember i was quite proud wit this one, and is still definitely one of my favs from my own nevertheless. Cuz its freakin mazinger. fuck yeah.

the ass-ignment was to take the storyboard down from a scene from starwars, and either recreate it or transfer it on toonboom software. the quality of art is horrible, even considering how much i suck with computers, but i had a lot of fun in turning starwars into a completely ridiculous piece of junk that doesnt make any sense. i took the song from a classic anime, "Saint Seiya" and threw in a random ninja with a chicken leg. there was no logic involved in the process.

the weird mark at the left bottom side of the screen is due to the file conversion program. :D

yes, i started blogging in spite of my best efforts to go against the main stream, i couldn't help but feel forced enough to start blogging. therefore, not only am i going to continute turning good tree resources into garbage, i will also be polluting virtual world as well from now.*warningi am not smart or organized enough to upload my artwork in time order.also, updating will extremely rarely happen because i mostly work in traditional fashion, and i don't own a scanner. and fucking school scanners most of the time don't work properly.even if they do, i am barely dilligent enough to breathe.thanks for visiting my shitty blog. i love you all.
